YJ Help: College Resources

biography

YJHelp.com is a comprehensive hub for incredibly detailed resources that can help you do well in college, with the ultimate goal of giving clear advice for you to land your first 'big job' (or even help you gain admission into competitive graduate school programs). While many of the examples used here reflect the works of an archetypal 'top student,' the advice and guides are meant to help all types of students achieve their goals.

YJHelp.com is managed by YJ (Yongjun) Heo. As a college student, he was awarded several national awards–from prestigious postgraduate fellowships to a public service award bestowed by President Bill Clinton. While he's advised exceptionally qualified college seniors and graduates who have become Rhodes, Mitchell, Gates Cambridge, Luce, Fulbright, Marshall, and Schwarzman Scholars, he has also directly supported hundreds of first generation college students during their college years. Some of his past advisees have attended top graduate schools in medicine, law, and journalism, along with elite PhD programs. Many have gone on to work at top-tier companies like McKinsey, Bain, BCG, Salesforce, Stripe, JPMorgan Chase, Goldman Sachs, Google/Alphabet, Facebook/Meta, Amazon, Tesla, and more.

YJ is a designer and startup entrepreneur who invented FLOAT (buyfloat.com) and designed Publit (publit.app). FLOAT is a patented, industrial-strength phone mount, and Publit is a website builder for creating personal sites or group directories.
