YJHelp.com is a resource for high school students, parents, and college students, with the ultimate goal of helping you or your child obtain their first 'big job' or eventually gain admittance to a competitive graduate program. This comes after a decade of voluntarily helping hundreds get through college and seeing the exceptional results of these efforts. While many of the examples used throughout may reflect the works of an archetypal 'top student,' the advice and guides are meant to help all types of students achieve their goals.

YJHelp.com is managed by YJ (Yongjun) Heo. As a college student, I was awarded several national awards–from prestigious postgraduate fellowships to a public service award bestowed by President Clinton. While I have advised exceptionally qualified students who have become Rhodes, Schwarzman, Gates Cambridge, Marshall Scholars and Fulbright winners, I have also directly supported hundreds of first generation college students during their college years. Some of my past advisees have attented top graduate programs in medicine, law, and journalism, along with elite PhD programs. Many have gone on to work at companies like McKinsey, Bain, BCG, Salesforce, Stripe, JPMorgan Chase, Goldman Sachs, Google/Alphabet, Facebook/Meta, Amazon, Tesla, and more. The vast majority of high school students I have supported have gained admittance to many of the top 30 colleges and universities across America.

I spend most of my time as a startup entrepreneur who invented FLOAT (buyfloat.com) and designed Publit (publit.app), currently managing and operating MWDL (midwestdesignlab.com) along with Monitor (monitoroperations.com). FLOAT is a patented, industrial-strength phone mount, and Publit is a website builder for creating personal sites or group directories. MWDL offers product development and design services for select clients, and Monitor is an AI-native business intelligence platform.
